Ciampitti Lab participated in the Kansas Science Festival

Last Saturday, part of the team participated in the Kansas Science Festival in Downtown Manhattan with the stand called “Where Your Food Comes From”. Natalia Volpatto, Valentina Pereyra, Carlos Hernandez, Constanza Mackrey, Danilo Tedesco, Federico Gomez, Yanina and Adrian Correndo, Joaquin Enrria, Lucia Marziotte, Lucas Nogueira, and Ignacio Ciampitti explained to the community the uses of technology and the features of different crops.

The Kansas Science Festival offers fun activities for all ages. There were over 140 presenters in 50 booths spread across Poyntz Ave, the County Plaza, and the Manhattan Public Library.

The Festival's mission is to co-create STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) experiences that spark excitement and curiosity in learners of all ages. Compared to last year's inaugural event, which attracted over 800 visitors, this year's Festival vastly expanded, showcasing a broader array of activities.
